Hello everyone, in this video I am explaining a bit about vinyl tape we used for adhering plastic to protect the windows and doors on this home.
Without naming crappy brands or the countries from which they originate, I will say some of the best vinyl tapes are from Canada, on this home in question we removed effortlessly each window without any residue adhering to the frames including the sides facing the sun, The tape was applied 6 weeks prior.
For us contractors inferior vinyl tape can add up to 30 to 40 hours of extra work for, shredding, leaving a residue and or not coming off properly.
Plus for the contractor like me inferior brands will allow water in while the plastic acts as a storage area which holds some of the this unwanted water so that when we do remove the bottoms of the tape the water leaches out onto finishes stucco which in itself can cost fellas such as myself a great deal of frustration.
