Do u put the 'welt crete' product over the caulking after you applied it. Also in some of your videos you didn't open up the crack as in this one when applying caulking. Is this because here you are dealing with a structural crack where there is more movement? Thanks.
Evening MrTruthislight, this deep crack was already there when I started, I simply removed the finish coat, I filled it with quality caulking as it's going to continue moving, if I used stucco in but a few months it would have cracked again, with the polyurethane caulking it seals and moves with the wall. it's not a permanent fix but they realize this and don't wish to tear off all the stucco to repair it properly.
best wishes,

I have major structure cracks on an entire wall. What if I calk the entire cracks and then place wire mesh on top and place Stucco on top?? Would that give me a better chance in the long run to stop the cracks from reappearing?? I have been breaking my head. Thank you.
Hi Rudy Rios, If it were me, I would choose between removing and replacing entire the wall properly. Or depending on your top texture, I would use sikaflex polyurethane caulking to seal the cracks then paint or if you have a sandy finish use Mor-flexx. Both of these caulkings take considerable skill to blend into certain finishes.Mor-flexx is not as strong as sikaflex but it is much easier to apply and clean up. To place mesh or wire on top of existing stucco is sort of goofy as the new stucco would only be as good as what's it's placed over. Best wishes, Kirk giordano Plastering
