Waterproofing a brick or block chimney next to a stucco wall

Waterproofing a brick or block chimney next to a stucco wall

Howdy guys and gals, in this video I explain the best way to water tight a brick chimney next to a stucco wall. I spent about an hour clearing out all the old existing stucco pieces. Next the paper was shoved in as far as possible, then we filled the large crack with a quality caulking.
Remember don’t buy the cheap caulking or try to use the smallest amount of caulking. If you do it may leak and cost you 100 times the amount you would have spent for several quality tubes of great caulking.

Best caulking is best to seal stucco lathing

Howdy folks, on this newly built garage completed By Larry Beilman, a Licensed general contractor in Alameda,, ca. I explain the type of polyurethane caulking to seal stucco lathing required by city codes to be used to fuse windows, doors, electrical outlets, Pipes or anything that may need fusing to the paper to be completed prior to an application of stucco. If this caulking work is not done before application of stucco, these areas will have the potential to leak.
