How to tie in, Tyvek Stucco Wrap with two ply building paper

FYI, all a person needs for the proper moisture barrier are two layers of building paper, in this video’s we added tyvek as the homeowner requested it but it was not necessary.

Howdy folk, in this video we explain how to tie is stucco lath when a porch is added after the wall was complete. On this home we used tyvek stucco wrap and two ply building paper so it was a bit time consuming, but nothing any stucco person can’t handle.

How to waterproof walls

How to waterproof walls

Hi guys, if this video explanation I show us getting a weather resistant waterproof barrier on the walls prior to any windows or doors being installed. This is not the first time or the last time we have done this. We water proofed the walls as heavy rains were forecast for the next 3 to 5 days and wanted to keep the sheer wall dry.

Howdy folks, Jason and I show how to re-lath in a newly installed window the proper way and up to industry code standards.
The key in lathing is to overlap properly so the wall won’t leak. And to lath over the existing lath to prevent a crack from developing.
