With this video, I”m explaining about stucco over wood siding.
The idea is to inform all that, of course, you can apply stucco over any wood substrate.

Plywood is mandatory for new homes and additions when building for stucco or plastering surfaces from current plywood sheathing.
There are so many wood substrates that can be gone over that they are too numerous to name here. Let’s try.
Here’s T1-11 Panel Siding, single, double, and triple shiplap siding, OSB sheathing, Tongue and groove cladding panels, or what they have here horizontal redwood boards. Naturally, there are many more, but the idea is most of them will work for a sheathing for stucco or plastering applications.

Note: You may also type in any question you may have on Stucco/Plastering issues on our channel, and like magic, a video will appear to explain how it’s done. Then kick back, relax, and enjoy the show!
Oh yeah, don’t forget to save the world, like, and subscribe. It’s not only good karma, but It also makes you feel warm and fuzzy.
