Hello everyone, as I said in the video, I said I didn’t use 18 gauge wire and some folks e-mailed and asked why?
When especially that it cost more wasn’t it better?
Yes, it does cost more and it may be better for studs but for solid backing
(plywood or as some say sheer wall backing on stud walls)
which has been code for well over 25 years I prefer the 17 gauge wire myself.
All folks are welcome to use the wire of their choice.
