Repair stucco or plaster cracks with caulking
Hi guys, In this video I explain crack repair. Most cracks on homes can be repaired in this fashion, though larger cracks will not maintain a consistent texture and may require a skim coat in order to feather into a matching texture.

Your welcome Daricson, I remember this video it was a really cold and miserable day for caulking.
Have a groovy day!

We have plaster walls in our living room (and whole house pretty much) and have started "sprucing" it up a little. we changed out the light switches from a plain white to a fancy metal one. Unfortunately, the new light switch cover is smaller and shows a nice hole in our plaster about 1inch by 2 inches. thanks for showing me some tips on how to fill it up so we can paint it over and make it look smooth!…..doubt it will last though since our foundation is made up of brick from 1930's!
Hi Kahne, Your welcome, when I need tips on stuff I don’t know how to do, I also hit you tube for the information of how to.
Your foundation from the 30s is more than likely built to last. My experience has shown me that older stucco homes that were built with plaster interiors are usually completed with quality, in most cases anyway.
Thanks for the comment, and have a groovy day.
