Howdy guys and gals, in this video, I explain how to repair Lath & plaster after stepping through the fragile ceiling.
The homeowner, Scott, did a great job with all the prep work, which is why I spent less than an hour correcting the patch.
I have repaired many ceilings where folk has stepped right through the wood lath, thinking it’s just as strong as the rafters. It is tough to stay on the studs while up there. I stepped through myself once.
