Hello ambitious guys and gals, who wish to learn how to plaster over y bricks, cinderblocks or even sheet rocked fireplace’s.
I am showing a wide variety of plaster/gypsum based products that can be used for just this purpose.
This video provides a step by step tutorial as to not only how but what plaster or sheetrock compounds you may wish to use.
I first applied a base coat of Gupsum based Structo-Lite plaster for strength, then I applied a gypsum plaster finish coat to get the walls a bit smoother as to match what was on the surrounding walls.
With a bit of attention with interest you can connect the dots in understanding the basic principles and techniques of stucco and or gypsum plaster.
This know how can be used to save you some dough.
