Lime Spackling for Patching holidays
Hello Everyone, In this video I didn’t have a cold, Jason and I removed so exterior stucco from a wall
(the video below was titled knowledge of stucco materials) http://youtu.be/xTB2RxBdKGA
In the above video, Instead of wearing a mask until the dust was contained, I like a fool inhaled it, a big no no.
For these tiny holidays I used some Lime Spackling as it’s just too easy for filling tiny holes. You can also use taping mud if you can’t find the Lime Spackling
Take it from old Kirk this Red Devil Spackling Compound is the bomb!
Thanks for watching and have a fabulous New Year!

The towel story . . .
Yes my friend it's an old tale, but surely we all have about 20 of these funny stories that brings a smile to our face at the expense of others.
I'll probably rot in hell as it was sure hard to say this with a straight face.
Have a good relaxing evening.

Someone is getting the sniffle! 😛
Evening Dusty dude, see what happens when you inhale exterior stucco, I deserved this raspy voice as I knew better than to not wear a mask, Oh Well, shit happens.
I feeling strong and healthy now though, this video was done about three weeks ago.
Have a groovy evening.
I've been meaning to ask you, what market did you buy those fish at that you're holding?
kirk giordano
Man, after that little anecdote, I'll NEVER use a wet towel I find laying around a job-site for anything at all.
Hey Frankie Guerra, too funny.
This this old tale was hard to say on camera with a straight face as I fell down laughing trying the first time.
Jason said "come on dad, it can't be that funny" but it really was as we were and still are good friends, and when someone you know does something really goofy, and looks at you with puppy dog eyes in disbelief, man, that's just funny, Hell i'm laughing at the thought right now as I'm writing, I guess you had to be there to see the expression. 🙂
Thanks for watching and have a relaxing evening!

I'm laughing plenty hard as it is, Kirk, if I had been there I'd probably have to change my underwear from laughing so hard and peeing myself. lol
This is a big reason why I tune in all the time to you guys, the real life stories that bring me laughter, the plaster tips are just a bonus at this point.
Keep on doing what you do, and never change, please. See you on the next one. 😉
@Frankie Guerra Cool beans daddio, will do,
kirk giordano
Kirk and Jason, I will be dry walling my home in a few more months and, if I understand you correctly, all I have to do to finish the drywall surface is to use Weld-Crete or another similar concrete bonding and then apply the plaster. The question I have is, "What type of plaster should use?" Lastly, even though I am not a plasterer, your videos are extremely interesting, to say the least.
Evening Mickey McEwan, not only does you name sound irish your thumbnail picture appears to be a happy little Irish fella. Hmmmm.
Yes you are on the ball, I would recommend a base coat or either Diamond, Imperial or uni-cal with the same finish plaster.
From what I understand you fellas from Ireland wrote the book om veneer plastering?
Best wishes and have a Fantastic New Year,

Hey Albert, it was sort of eerie, some tight spots just don't show up in videos.
We have had to cancel at least 30 or so as there was not enough room to show what the heck we were doing.
Cheers, and have a Fantastic New Year! Kirk Giordano’s DIY plastering tips
Hi Kirk,Another good tip and a good story,I enjoy all your videos. keep up the good work, one more thing who is the guy in the family photo with the big false red beard,is he the Viking of the family ??. Hope you got over the running nose cold.
all the best from Scotland Kenny.
Morning kenny forman from Scotland, that bearded dude is Jason, my oldest son who shoots all the video's and is also a licensed plastering contractor, rock climber and former ski patroller among other titles.
How's the weather out in Scotland? Does most of the land look like the movie Braveheart?
Cheers, and have a Fantastic New Year!

Hey Kenny, there was nothing false about that beard! I grew that for almost two years with only one trim in there for a wedding I was in.

Hey Peter, the glories in the yammering.
I have one more vid where my voice is similar which we did the day after this, so I'm going to post now just for the heck of it.
What good is working if I can't talk about a bunch of useless stuff that don't amount to anything?
Have a groovy evening.

Hey Kirk,
Firstly, thanks for making videos with interesting and helpful information and content, that have helped me regularly on the job. Secondly i am a young carpenter, in the job for 2 years now and i am just about to become fully qualified in the UK. In the near future e.g. ( 2-3 Years) i want to come to the US and apply my trade there. so my question to you is do you know people that have done this before? and if so did they fit in, was it easy for them to get work and most of all would there be more training needed to be able to work in the US that i would not have got in the UK.
Many Thanks
Jack Alexander-Sanchez
Hello Jack alexander-sanchez, Yes, I do, for example my daughter Madeleine has a degree in marine biology, she has gone to canada, france, germany and is currently living in Spain teaching english, and with no financial aid from me, of course I would help if she would ask, however she says (dad' I can do it on my own, and does."
Madeleine is only 24.
Hope this helps my friend as you can do whatever you wish if you believe you can you will, if you believe you can't you wont.
Type in (Napoleon Hill quotes) and read some amazing thoughts, they are guaranteed to get a mind right.
Best wishes, and have a Fantastic New Year!

good vid there Kirk,, red devil spackle is a contractors punch list man 1st line of defense in weapons arsenal,,, it fixes a multitude of sins,,,good thing about it too , you can paint over it pretty quick too.
take care of that cold,, I got it just before Christmas and still got it,, turned into full blown pneumonia… go to the doc in the box and and get you a needle of antibiotics in one ass cheek and a needle of steroid in the other ass cheek and knock that cold bug out before it starts growing a family.
Kirk,, a box of kleenex is 99 cents,,, damn that blowing your nose in a towel…..
Evening Nate, dude, the towel was in my truck.
I never told my boy (sunshine) to open my door and use it, that's what makes it soooo funny.
As far as the cold thing this was a reaction to inhaling stucco dust, but I have been better now that I'm juicing 15 pound of organic vegetables a day.
I cured this crap from my throat 3 weeks ago. I have another video I'm going to post now from the day after this one where I'm stll horse.
from then on the new and improved me after juicing 15 pound of veggies a day.
Best wishes and have a Fantastic New Year, Kirk Giordano’s DIY plastering tips

It’s not for everyone as it take efforts for supreme health.
I feel like every day I am on this therapy I turn back the clock 3 weeks, man,
I was feeling real bad all of last year and started this program on the 21st of January and feel so much better now.
This video was when I was still sick, also, I’m not talking about the raspy voice that was the least of my problems.
Best wishes Nate with your health too.
