Hello everyone, presented in this video is a detailed explanation of a new lightweight cement plaster (stucco) and its application.
Jason and I attended a stucco seminar held at Westside Building Materials located in Oakland ca. to witness the explaining, research, development, mixing and application of this new revolutionary lightweight stucco.
This seminar had a fella who spent years formulating the idea of how to make stucco lightweight and save massive amount of styrofoam from filling our landfills.
His presentation was awesome, it even held my attention, that says a lot as I have heard many fellas talk about the boring subject of stucco.
Fortunately my son Jason was also at this seminar who retains much more than myself, so together I show how it’s applied while Jason explains the hows and whys behind the making of this remarkable achievement of lightweight stucco.
Stucco, concrete, cinderblocks the that say (lightweight) have either Perlite or Styrofoam coated with a cementitious Portland based stucco or concrete.
This method makes them lighter thus easier to handle and work with and supposedly more water Resistance.
