How to use plastering tools, cheaters, go-devils, hawks and trowels
Howdy guys and gals, I am shown here explaining how to use plastering tools, cheaters, go-devils, Hawks and trowels. When you use a go-devil or cheater you must apply hard against a wall and really embed the stucco. This is easier to do with just a hawk and trowel.
PLEASE also note, a base coat will crack no matter what tools you use to apply the cement or how long you wait between coats. It’s the naturally curing process. The real question is what the best method for applying a scratch and brown coat to achieve fewer cracks during the curing process. It would take me quite a while to explain this process.
