Hand apply a stucco acrylic finish
This video shows the importance of scaffold use, for those who would rather be safe then sorry. I have seen men fall from shorter distances with maximum hurt. We applied an acrylic finish to this dormer with the aid of this really nicely set staging.
How and why and when you should install an a stucco acrylic finish.

Ur puttin it on far to heavy plus the float is all wrong, in Ireland we finish acrylic 1000 times better an are in demand all around the uk!
Good morning Darren McCoy, In the UK, many plastering techniques are quite different, some countries use Stainless steel trowels to spread and float, or hard plastic floats to bring out worm finishes in similar products the owners of this house asked for a float finish.
We use a green sponge float, the purpose is to bring out the sand, sort of like a 80 grit sandpaper look. I do have many mates in the UK.
Thanks for watching and have a good day!

Thanks man, it's an honor to learn from one of the best guys in our particular trade.
Hi Ernesto Gomez, thank man, I wouldn't go that far, most of the acrylic's are similar, although I haven't spread La HaBra's acrylic I'm certain it's going to be about the same.
I will do some background checking prior to this thursday's application.
I have applied at least ten of the top brands. Only two of these products are complete garbage, we in the trade's know of these two and avoid them like the plague as we realize they are terrible acrylic's. This DIY plaster network keep thing's positive, meaning I'll mention the good one's but won't get caught up whining about the ones that cost me my reputation and a great deal of time, and money redoing them with quality products.
best wishes,
kirk and family
That's the best all of us can do
Hey Kirk and jay!!, I'm super curious do you need a primer on the existing wall before applying acrylic finish texture?? And also im fixing a patch on my grandmas home, used bonding agent around the edges before applying scratch and brown coat, should I also use a bonding agent on top of the brown coat before adding primer then finish texture or will just the primer do the trick??
If you floated a wall up here with a green sponge instead of a plastic float ,you are off the job. Mayby if youhad a darbyed bace coat it might work better. Thank God you have lots of followers that don't have a clue what a professional job looks like.
