Flashing stairs the correct way, flashing stairs on a stucco wall.
Howdy guys and you DIY gals too. The fella who installed the flashing did a fine job on this project, so I thought I would share his efforts as many of my clients ask how to waterproof the stairs, and flashing is necessary for me to continue my next steps. Additionally, stair-to-wall flashing is needed to continue with the stucco lath of any home.

Easy Justin, hate to say this Justin, but I am expert in exterior stucco and plastering as well as metal and all its counter flashings. However stairs to wall flashing falls into another category which does not relate to stucco contractors. I do recognize this quality in others and happy to show it. If it give you pleasure I am happy to admit I am a terrible plumber and an even worse electrician.
Thanks for the comment (I think) and you have a groovy day, also.

In my experience with waterproofing the waterproofing membrane goes first and then the flashing all because of moisture condensing in the flashing the plywood get water damage. In case flashing just leaks Water will not go into plywood that is my experience
