How to remove stucco on a stud wall,
Best way to remove stucco and fix it, Jason Giordano plastering
Hello everyone, on this wall I try and give you an example of why and how to break out stucco as best as possible in order to get the best possible weather barrier.
Stud houses and tying in new lath to existing is tricky and even doing the best one can is subject to failure sometimes. Whenever possible remove the entire wall and start fresh, this is the most effective way but also the most expensive. Sometimes I am forced to have to recommend this method, where patching will do little good.

Nice Video.. You sound and act just like your Dad! Must have been a lot of influence there growing up. You guys do good work!
Hi Dom, Jason has been working with me for over 8 years and is also licensed in plastering. But the work situation is slow, so most times he works with me, as I have 30 years of contacts with contractors who trust we will do a good job at fair prices.
Thanks for the compliment and have a groovy evening.

"The paper was not good" Well yeah, you probably butchered it cause you don't know what you're doing. You use air chisels to make cracks, You use prybars, and crowbars after that to lift the stucco off the paper, then break it apart. Keeps the paper safe, and no wasting material.
Howdy Rat Dude, thanks for the tip. Best wishes, Giordano’s teaching video’s
