Howdy, guys and gals, in this video, we explain how I apply multiple layers of cement stucco to bring the stucco out to 1 1/2 inches thick. (Jason, sped the camera up for your comedic entertainment)
The average stucco thickness is technically 7/8 of an inch. I am applying 3 scratch coats of about half-inch thick each back to back. A fellow or Hod Carrier has to be really on the ball if he is to mix this type of material, or the person applying will have a hard time putting it on a wall.
