The back brace is ubiquitous to all videos how about a video on that? What brand? How about a video on how you can keep your body in shape enough to do this kind of work. Are your wrists shot? My brother does venetian plaster and he is always complaining about the pain caused by the repetitive motion. Love that lime. Respect to you sir.
Howdy Gain, video below to keep the back strong, I have never had a problem with my wrist or shoulders, in fact i believe use it or lose it,
Of course your body is what you eat, fake food pain often, sometime just doing a movement incorrect for years can also beat up an arm or back.

When i first started to do brick work the customer had some Lime and cement on site ,and he said i could use it . Well, me being new to the brick cement work had to adjust how much at his expense . He had me redo the job as it was too white from me putting too much lime in the mix . He end up angry and will not talk to me anymore ,even though i fixed the job . I think he was a meth freak under cover . Well, you live and you learn .
Good morning Albert, this is indeed a sad story, as some folks take kindness for a weekness, been there a few times myself.
My advise it to take a bit more time explaining what possible negative circumstances can occur when agreeing to use leftover materials.

Although the ,"Lime job" went south of the border on me i still did a great job in the end . You have to live in the Northeast here to appriciate the bad tempers and attitudes up here. Great hearing from you .
Good morning Al, doubtful the bad tempers are isolated to your area, best a fella can do is be observant and try to avoid potential irritable folks and instead seek clients who have a harmony with content human natures.

Im about to render plaster the inside of a breeze element chimney with ceramic insides.. Any tips for us folk here in Finland?? I love watching your style of working… awsome just awsome….Thanks
Good afternoon showtime dude, I've heard that Vitcus has a heat resistant render or stucco, but have not tried it.
I would advise googling what is the best cement plaster for pizza ovens or fireplaces where heat is a real issue.

Kirk you have to help me out here,I'm confused ,You put the mud on , then you let it dry and started floating before making the pier straight ?, its all bumpy ,is this what the customer wanted ?, or is this a standard ?. Down under we would rule or screed the pier or wall with a aluminium u channel and then then float is with a plastic float and gently sponge it which gives it a sandy finish but we use a level to make sure everything is flush, thats one finish but we always make sure it's completely straight no surface dents or waves in it . Is this what you do to? , is there different rendering techniques and variations from country to country ?. Let me know I can show you some photos ?.
Afternoon Jon dude the customer wanted our finish to match his house which was indeed humpy and bumpy, in this video, I show what we are matching.

can I ask why you couldn't just stucco the pillars
I have a block wall that they smeared concrete over the blocks and I want to smooth it out, I planned to pressure wash it and use bonding agent and try to make it even
it's a curved block wall
Good afternoon Permanent Wave, you can stucco any or nothing at all, Thus your decision.
I do as I'm told by my clients.

Good evening Jacob dude, we don't manually add lime anymore, I buy premium cement plaster where the lime is already added, we just add sand and water

so is it better to use portland/sand instead of mortar to skim coat a cinder block wall? I'm just asking because I want to do a little project for myself. thanks in advance
Evening Dude, both titles mean the same thing.
Mortar is used for grout mainly, but all the plastering contractor call stucco, mortar too.
Yes, use portland cement and sand.
