Amazon quickly provides this luxury.👍 Usually, two day delivery with Prime right to your front door, make a person downright lazy, but happy.😏
Plus, this helps support us a bit so we can keep making these teaching videos.
In this video, we are applying stucco to a wood fence, keep in mind, there are about 20 ways to build a stucco fence. You can use 4×4 post or more significant, then 2x4s as cross braces or bigger.
Then plywood can be attached to both sides than two layers of two-ply 60-minute paper can be used for the moister barrier, next one can attach stucco netting then stucco as usual. This method is the most common way to build a stucco fence.
Or one can use CMU blocks or as referred to as Cinder or concrete blocks, then apply stucco over these. How many ways to build a cement plaster or stucco fence, Endless. Or use CMU blocks, which would you prefer?
The cement plaster I prefer is Lehigh Hanson all-purpose stucco mix sold at westside building materials or other professional plastering yards.
Sometimes we add accelerators as we did in this video.
Hansons Lehigh premium cement plaster has all additives added in the bag, I just add water and sand.
As a rule, we add 3 parts sand every one part cement plaster.
See the video below.
OTHER CEMENT PRODUCTS at HD or Lowes
Home Depot sells, Quickrete, Sakrete, and or Rapid set. These same manufacturers also have cement products they sell there too.BMI, 690 with fibers is also an excellent cement plaster
FYI, with stucco, the slightest movement and or vibrations can cause hairline cracks. This does not affect the integrity of the waterproofing membrane or the exterior cement plaster.
However, it’s normal for folk to panic as they have no clue why this happens it’s merely house movement. Vibrations in stucco walls and or concrete are sort like Kryptonite to Superman, not good.
Soooo, sit back relax, type in your question on our channel, and like magic, a video will appear to explain how it’s done. Then Kick back relax and enjoy the show, and oh yeah, don’t forget to save the world, like and subscribe, It’s not only good karma, It makes you feel warm and fuzzy all over.💃
