I made a mistake my fellow plasterers, at 1:58, I explain the amount of sand to cement plaster correct, a few seconds later at 1:58 I say the amounts wrong, it should be three parts sand to 1 part cement plaster.
A big, oops. I wonder how many plasterers catch this goofy mistake. I‘ve inhaled so much stucco in all the years in the trade I’m getting sometimers, sometimes I remember, sometimes, I forget.

Howdy folks, once more I wish to say that at, 1:58, I explain the amount of sand to cement plaster correct a few seconds later at 1:58 I mean we usually mix three parts sand to 1 part Cement plaster.
FYI, how much sand for each coat of stucco?
Scratch coats are mixed at 1 part cement to 3 to 4 parts sand, the brown coats, (second coats) are mixed at 1 part cement to 3 to 5 parts sand, finish coats are sold separately and pre-bagged you just add water.
In all our video’s I explain in simple layman’s terms the applications and reasons for our actions so that even my dear old grandma can understand.
Us plastering professionals are teaching you DIY weekend warriors how to do it yourself one video at a time.
