Hello, our faithful subscribers and plasterers around the world! 🌎
Jason and I have over 850 original, educational, and free Youtube videos.🧘‍♀️
All by your favorite plaster geeks: me, and Jason, my son the bearded plasterer and video creator.
Below are just a few of our videos to give you an idea of who we are. You may also type in any question you may have on Stucco/Plastering issues on our channel, and like magic a video will appear to explain how it’s done. Then kick back, relax, and enjoy the show! 🍿
Oh yeah, don’t forget to save the world, like and subscribe. It’s not only good karma, but It also makes you feel warm and fuzzy all over. 💃🕺🏻 😉

My son Jason and I are also participants in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program.

With our Amazon affiliates links below, Jason and I took the liberty of researching the best tools at the lowest cost used by us. This removes the guesswork for you out of buying plastering and other stucco tools.
Amazon quickly provides this luxury. Usually, two day delivery with Prime right to your front door… makes a person downright lazy, but happy. 👍
Plus, this helps support us a bit so we can keep making these teaching videos. Below are just some of the tools, hawks, and trowels we recommend through Amazon – check out www.stuccoplastering.com/tools for all our recommendations.🎆🎁Remember, once on the Amazon page you can buy not just the tools we recommend but anything your heart desires.

BTW, I'm Jason, the beard behind the camera, and also a licensed contractor. My dad and I have switched to powerful, modern, and long-lasting all battery-operated Milwaukee tools for good reasons. Take the Dual Chemistry M18 Job-site Radio. For me, this is one of my favorite tools for any job site: http://amzn.to/3aVmD1T. I plug my cell phone in the top, then listen commercial-free to my music all day... or my dad's favorite artists. 😏🤔 We turn it off when filming. 🎥
We've also replaced our corded break out tool for the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Rotary Hammer: https://amzn.to/3ecdjsy. Here's a video about why we love it: -https://youtu.be/TdsGwupieXE
We exclusively use this battery-operated mortar drill - it's a drag searching for outlets, unrolling a hundred-foot extension cord, and winding it back up: https://amzn.to/2OzBxS0

Im a plasterer for 20+ yrs in ktown, tn. Kirk will know best, but those are two diff in my opinion. A cementicious finish and a synthetic acrylic. May bond, but i wouldnt chance it. Maybe on primered walls but we have to weld creed primused synthetic walls for the cement finishes such as mission finish santa mon. to bond. And it didnt bond well. Go one way or the other. Mixing will def void the manufacturer's warranty too. Just my 50cents…

Howdy Josy excellent question, hope I catch you in time to advise, first of acrylic or synthetics are the same product, just called different names.
I would not recommend adding anything to any acrylic stucco, except a cup or two of water or the adhesion will be compromised among things, so don't do that.
On an entire home, this method would have disastrous results, on your own home for a small patch, not the end of the world, it would not last anywhere near applying any pure sand acrylic stucco.
Super quality acrylic stucco's are Stucco-Flex, Dry-Vit, BMI, Carsons, etc.

Howdy James my fellow plasterer, excellent advice.
As a rule, we apply Weld-Creat before applying cementitious stucco.
I apply specific primers that are of the same brand for all acrylic stucco's.
Your 50 cents of advice is undercharged, that knowledge can't be measured in money.

FYI, the Amazon link provides links to products folks ask about, direct from the manufactures, it does indeed for the last year or so deposit about 220 dollars a month in my account from sells revenues.
I set this up merely to direct folks to quality products at the lowest cost, that being said if it were to generate more cash, doubtful would whine about it 😉

Morning Silent dude, we have had this channel going for about 10 years, we didn't sign up with Amazon, but about two years ago.
I had my computer dude hook us up for the subscriber's benefits as many ask, what and where to buy, although I do receive about 220 bucks monthly from revenues any cash benifits was not the number 1 reason I hooked up with Amazon.
That was the number 2 reason.

Morning jrg, a question please as I'm ignorant on tech stuff does the link have to have this slash (/) at the end to continue any link pages?
Is the link, https://www.stuccoplastering.com/tools or the link https://www.stuccoplastering.com/tools/ the correct way?
If the link has to have the slash at the end, then how foolish I have been as I have deleted this slash feeling it was a mistak and or not needed.

Evening Jose, some plastering yards sell them when I used to buy in bulk from was a place online called NP Planks, I'd buy a hundred at a time, quality plank at an affordable cost.
The same size wood at lumber yards to try and save some dough will get someone killed, don't do that.
Planks must be approved for scaffolding.

That's Pretty Sweet! I Can't Tell You How Many Times I've Whacked My Thumb/Finger Nailing Chimney Flashing. What Sucks is Usually you're Hitting it Real Hard to Get it to Go Into Masonry.
As far as Keeping the Chimney from Moving? In General the Chimney Stays put..The Wood Framed Portions Just Expand & Contract at Different Rates than the Relitively Solid
Masonry…Roofs Move Too Properly Flashed Chimneys Allow for that Movement.

I'm Just Saying that Unless there's an Ongoing Problem Chimneys & Masonry in General Don't Flex Like Framing. They're Relitively Stable it's Everything Else that Moves.
