Plaster, it’s everywhere you want to be
Howdy guys and gals, Jason and I along with the entire Giordano family wish all of our subscribers a Merry Christmas and Happy holiday season, remember don’t drink and drive, leave this occupational hazard to us, professionals, just kidding, because, as a rule, I only drink if I’m by myself or with a friend.
We thought we’d explain a few common sense plastering methods, that folks ask us about frequently, like wearing out muscles and the plastering trowels I prefer.
Allow this video to be your free training course to DIY plastering.
How much sand for each coat of stucco?
Scratch coats are mixed at 1 part cement to 2-1/4 to 4 parts sand, brown coats are mixed at 1 part cement to 3 to 5 parts sand, and finish coats are 1 part cement to 1-1/2 to 3 parts sand.
BTW, In all our video’s I explain in simple Layman’s terms the applications and reasons for our actions so that even my great grandma can understand.
Kirk says, Just plaster it, whether it ends up good or bad it will be an adventure,
