Hello, our faithful subscribers and plasterers around the world! 🌎
Jason and I have over 850 original, educational, and free Youtube videos.🧘‍♀️
All by your favorite plaster geeks: me, and Jason, my son the bearded plasterer and video creator.
Below are just a few of our videos to give you an idea of who we are. You may also type in any question you may have on Stucco/Plastering issues on our channel, and like magic a video will appear to explain how it’s done. Then kick back, relax, and enjoy the show! 🍿
Oh yeah, don’t forget to save the world, like and subscribe. It’s not only good karma, but It also makes you feel warm and fuzzy all over. 💃🕺🏻 😉

My son Jason and I are also participants in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program.

With our Amazon affiliates links below, Jason and I took the liberty of researching the best tools at the lowest cost used by us. This removes the guesswork for you out of buying plastering and other stucco tools.
Amazon quickly provides this luxury. Usually, two day delivery with Prime right to your front door… makes a person downright lazy, but happy. 👍
Plus, this helps support us a bit so we can keep making these teaching videos. Below are just some of the tools, hawks, and trowels we recommend through Amazon – check out www.stuccoplastering.com/tools for all our recommendations.🎆🎁Remember, once on the Amazon page you can buy not just the tools we recommend but anything your heart desires.

BTW, I'm Jason, the beard behind the camera, and also a licensed contractor. My dad and I have switched to powerful, modern, and long-lasting all battery-operated Milwaukee tools for good reasons. Take the Dual Chemistry M18 Job-site Radio. For me, this is one of my favorite tools for any job site: http://amzn.to/3aVmD1T. I plug my cell phone in the top, then listen commercial-free to my music all day... or my dad's favorite artists. 😏🤔 We turn it off when filming. 🎥
We've also replaced our corded break out tool for the Milwaukee M18 FUEL Rotary Hammer: https://amzn.to/3ecdjsy. Here's a video about why we love it: -https://youtu.be/TdsGwupieXE
We exclusively use this battery-operated mortar drill - it's a drag searching for outlets, unrolling a hundred-foot extension cord, and winding it back up: https://amzn.to/2OzBxS0

How long until the material is cured fully and can be painted? Also, what do you do to protect the ground so it’s not spotted in dash drippings?
I noticed the embroidery on your shirt, looks good.

Good evening Clint dude, the rule is 30 days to reach the proper ph level prior to painting,
what happens if a person paints to soon?
good question, glad you asked the paint can blister or ghosting can occur, both not good,
Why of course we cover the ground or it makes our clean up more time-consuming.

Kirk, I ask about ground covering to see if you cover with a single use cover or have something than can be reasonably cleanable and reused? I drop my fair share and use heavy plastic so when picking it up it doesn’t fall apart and hit the ground anyway. Any tips for us on job site prep so the after the work cleanup looks good?

Good Evening Grant, yes I say "mud" for all cement and plasters, my brother lu add some of our plastering mud in a bucket the adds water we mix it with the brush sometimes, but usually after were finished applying all the plaster by hand, the hod carrier will just add water to the mixer, soup it up and let the blades do the work, then when mixed to a soupy consistency pours into a wheel barrel, then shovel into our buckets, we then throw it on the wall.

Hi Mr. Giordano.  The Diamond  Veneer finish is so-so.  I usually mix type S Lime Putty kept in 3 gallon sized buckets.   When veneering, USG gauging plaster 1:3 ratio.  Its old school  I know.  Better control, and brown out is not as critical.  Keep Doing Great!

Howdy CM dude, I usually just but the base coat and finish coat bags these days such as Diamond or imperial, the days of adding the slaked lime is long past plus in my area, too difficult to find.
Of course this video is about exterior rendering or cement plastering, not veneer interior mud.

Good Morning Paintbrush dude, no I had just applied it, it was set just enough to hold the dash finish.
FYI, If the bascoat is too dry the finish does not adhere to well, too wet it changes the texture.
