Mr. Giordano, thank you for all of your videos! I have a question though regarding the removal of the old flaking stucco. I have spots where it is peeling all over my house. They look like spiders webs that have a slight lift to it where water gets in sue to the lift. On one wall off the outside I have used a 0 percent nozzle on a 2500HP Power washer and have removed maybe 25-30 percent of the old stucco. However, the rest refuses to come off even when hand scrapping it. Can this remaining stucco that refuses to come off be left on there or do I need to get a stronger tip for my power washer? If it can be left on there, can I just build up those spots after using a bonding agent by skimming several times?

Morning Melissa, yes it can be left on, as if it won't come off with that force it's got a great bond already,
You can also try a putty knife as after water absorbs in the wall it loosen some other areas.
      Cheers,

Your comments on mixing are so true… I've been doing a few small stucco projects around the house, had some friends come help with the mixing on a bigger one, almost wasn't worth it the mud was so bad.
