Is Construction Dust Harmful, it’s easier to wear Proper Protection

Howdy all you ambitious guys and gals, Jason”my Son” and I have another tip of the week for our fellow Hod Carriers, cement masons, plasters, stucco dudes and stucco gals as well as you homeowners who wish learn why Choosing a respirator is very important.

I have entered many homes where the husband and wife are in the middle of tearing out the inside plaster with small kids and babies, not knowing that while their working let alone when they sleep that they are subjecting themselves and their kids to some toxic crap through way of inhaling.
I have told many, “Tonight while you sleep, turn on a flashlight,” look into that beam of light, this stuff is going straight through your sinus and lodging in your sinus and lungs.
Not to scare, mind you, but to simply inform, as scaring the crap out of folks is not my style, instead I make suggestions our of common sincerity out of love for my fellow folks.
Be smart rent a room for your kids and even yourself or invest in proper respirator/dust masks and a vacuuming system as I have been beat up too many times to this invisible but deadly and bullying toxic crap. Old kirk say, “Be wise and stay alive.”
(while tearing the inside of your Plaster home apart)

We did this video just in case you young folks are not aware as I wasn’t, Construction dust can cause serious damage to your health.
There’s no disgrace in not knowing these facts, what is a crime however, is to be informed and not heed common sense advice, as we owe it to ourselves to keep own health up.
My son Jason witnessed me sick many times and connected the dots where I was too goofy to see I was poisoning myself much too often.

Not only will you stay healthy and alive but have the energy and ambition to watch our real how to repair video’s that explain how to fix or repair your biggest investment and source of pleasure, your home.

Old Kirk says, material knowledge is 70% of being a well rounded stucco guy,
The other 30% is application, but what good is either if your sick from inhaling construction dust?

Only "macho" idiots think that they're invincible and don't need to wear protective gear.

Not even Superman ever thought he was invincible, even a comic book character knows he has limitations.

Morning mac plastering, hey brother, It was awful the first time, did in fact hurt my ear blowing out excess water, but I felt like a new man the next day after close to 14 days of hell, but my ear did hurt a bit, never made that mistake again. I'd take a hurt ear as opposed to not having the energy or dire to get out of bed any day.

Then I went on your website and saw the 510 area code, you guys are in my area! You may be getting a call from me if I take on more than I can chew with my patio project.

Great info, personal safety is a must. The nasal rinsing (or neti pots) can be helpful but the water used must be purified or else you may get a brain infection! Seriously…it's rare but check it out http://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/ConsumerUpdates/ucm316375.htm

Evening sognatore, without clicking on the link, I'd say we're hip to the toxins in the water, we have filters that remove chlorine and fluoride plus other toxic chemicals, than in our bath we add magnesium chloride ancient minerals, with red mill baking soda, and other salts such as himalayan and a few other minerals, got to stop there before folks think me crazy.
Dude, you've done some homework, good for you, great minds think alike while fools never differ.

Howdy Mr Mac Daddy, had to google neti pot, I prefer the shower or a bathtub myself when I am forced to waterboard myself, kidding as I can do this difficult and nasty stuff quite easily these days.
as far as baking soda I do have this daily, the red mill brand.
Of course we also have a filter on the bath to remove chlorine and fluoride, and me wife who is a bio chemist adds her magnesium, baking soda, and five other type of salts, if I have to resort to this procedure to flush the toxins from my sinuses.

For guys too macho to wear masks, in addition to the lye, lime, and asbestos mentioned in the video, think also of the tiny particulates of lead paint during plaster demo work. Long-term daily exposure to all of that can make for a lot of poisonous grit in the lungs over time.

Morning jacob kindsvatter, I was never provided a dust mask when I worked for the at least 7 different plastering companies either, back in the day either,
As I was telling a fella earlier my research shows that the biggest bone in the human body the femur, when busted it repairs in 6 weeks.
Our bodies have the incredible capacity to heal quickly, sometimes it just needs a little help, like preventing dust from poisoning our sinuses and lungs and gloves from handling toxin, the list goes on, these common sense precautions are not so common.
Old kirk's been a victim too many times, therefore thought I would go a bit deeper into the subject from Jason's last video.

I find the forced water from the shower or dunking my head in a tub while bathing a drag as is, a netti pot sounds like it would prolong this nasty method of cleaning one's sinuses.
When old man Norman explained his ancient technique to me, it seemed to take me forever the first time and was like self torture, but in a shower I can if I must get it done in a couple minutes, Don't try it as it sucks, literally.
I try and remember to wear real dust mask to prevent if I can,

However all my issues were cured or are being cured by my newest and bestest pal, author, John E. Sarno.
I was on a site two months ago ( jason and I were discussing Fibromyalgia and similar ills) when a fellow comes out and says what if I told you all your pains and issues are in your head?
I almost lost it with this guy,
Right before Jason and I were leaving this unknowing neighbor brings one of John's books out and simply says, if you have time read this, if you agree pass it along.
Best advice I received in 20 years,
The Amazing thing is a day prior I asked in a prayer for a solution to my thoughts, that prayer was answered the next day, I read that evening till the sun rose.

Good evening Vinnie dude, sorry to hear this as that sucks, brush your tongue super well for a few days as that stuff gets stuck in the back of your tongue, sounds weird as it is, activated charcoal helps too, or you can do the nose thing in this video, it's no fun, in fact, I chocked the first time I tried it.
But when I get this feeling I do it and it works, this goofy but effective idea was told to me by an old-timer.
plus, blow your nose often as those nanoparticles clog up the entire sinus big time, not hard enough to blow out an eardrum, but enough to get that stuff out!
Hopefully, you didn't find any rat poop or nest in that stuff, as like a fool I did and was beat up for a while for it, as I wasn't wearing a proper mask, that won't happen to me again, doubtful to you either.

Howdy David, I'm sorry to hear this brother, in this video, I do indeed explain how, "I" deal with any toxin I breathe in, which happens throughout an average day for us. However, the method is this video is not for the faint of heart. The method I explain in this video was told to me by an old man who I thought was crazy until I tried it.
They do sell what are termed, Neti pots to rinse the toxins out, thus help remove sinus infections.
Never tried one as I use the stronger methods mentioned myself.
Another way is to clean your tongue as far back to your throat as possible, my wife has this cool u shaped copper tongue scraper that remove not only the top stuff but deep down toxins off the tongue as it may be parasites, dust and or mold as this crap actually embeds itself.
I've also used a toothbrush if nothing else is available, the idea is to give a helping hand to our immune system to do its job and to shove this stuff into our colon where it can be eliminated.
