Old Kirk says, material knowledge is 70% of being a well rounded plasterer,
The other 30% is application.

If you don’t know how it can be physically demanding and may destroy the desire to want to try again.

Another great informative video. Question: I have a crack that reappears in a wall i just stuccoed. I did a scratch, brown, and spray texture finish. The crack is about 4' long. What is your suggestion to repair it?
    Thanks,
    Wayne in Baltimore,Md.

Hi Wayne Frazier, if it were me I would use a caulking, if it's a sandy wall which most are try the mor-flexx caulking, easy clean up and the sand in the caulking makes it match the majority of stucco finishes,
      Cheers!

Hey Wayne, it's the caulking I use when my stucco walls crack when and if my walls crack.
       cheers!

Might seem like a silly question: How do you get the sand finish? Do you add sand to the stucco?

You seem to use the words plaster and stucco interchangeably. Are they? Thanks.

I had some parging done, sand finish. I'm finding I have to sweep piles of sand after it rains. Is this normal? And will it eventually stop coming off?
