Great info. Good humor.

BTW, Who always provides the 1 down?
+BlackSwan912 We need to get him, then put a scratch coat on his feet, then a brown coat and after that a nice cementitious color coat before we drown him in a lake!
Evening BlackSwan dude, do you mean the fella who thumbs down?
He's a fool who more than likely does not understand the importance of nutritional verse food you can simply live off.
I had to ban him from the channel as he wants to argue over every video, it would not have been so bad but his ignorance and lack of being able to communicate on a adult level is just too weird.
The old saying you can't teach an old dog new trick is in reality, you can't teach anyone who eats poisonous foods non conducive to good health new a new trick as the poisonous food instead of nutritional food make or brakes human thought, I believe he has destroyed what little neurons he had left by the result of bad eating and drinking habits, thus created a foolish troll who is not happy with himself or others.
Cheers!

Looks like your red tape decided to take an early break, off down the road, rollin' rollin' rollin !
Hey John Reeves, I saw that too, look like some of the guys when they see the big jobs,
Run like scared rabbits.

+John Reeves yeah right – get that run away tape man .. it ain't cheap!! lol

Another great tip thanks for sharing. I found it funny when the tape rolled away from you when you were demonstrating lol. I've been using that technique you showed us all to get rid of set plaster/render (render: what we call it on your wife's old side of the world) on the trowel by rubbing it up on a curb. I used a piece of left over square stone from an old job and it came up a treat, well it was my bosses trowel truth be told because I always keep my trowels clean unlike him! Keep the tips coming, greatly appreciated. Kind Regards.
Howdy thbuk dude, thank you, there are lot of small things a fella can learn to help save much needed time.
I am the opposite of your boss my tools are spotless, unless I take a holiday and come back then they are caked.
I tell the guys clean both sides or they wont flex.
Best wishes,
Kirk giordano
Some day I hope I own some stucco.
Conrad I'm not certain what that means but thats o.k.

Great one again Kirk, nice to see your family getting into it….you should have your own tv show mate!
Morning Paintbrush dude, I agree,
Thanks for watching.
Kirk Giordano
Your videos are great. Ignore the negative comments. You will always run into some crab ass. Jealousy is the reason for their comments. Not only do I learn from you, I am entertained as well. Your Pisano…..
Morning Bowzer dude, I don't mind any negative comments in fact I like them, reminds me of the days I worked union, we talked smack to each other all day long, the meaner and raunchier the better.
Plus I grew up with this playful, offensive but harmless and funny talk also.
Cheers!
kirk giordano
Thanks again for the video. Always a pleasure to watch and learn from a true pro.
Morning David Termini, thank you.
We get a kick out of making these video's too.
I often tell my son Jason, as long as you don't mind filming and uploading them to you tube have at it.
Best wishes,
Kirk Giordano
Hey kirk, can you tell me what union is? i hear it in most of your videos but i never knew what it was, is it a company you used to work for?
+goldenalex Labor unions in the USA are groups who bargain contracts for wages and provide training. Most unions have an apprentice program that leads to journeyman status after around 4 years (depending on trade and how much you work). An apprentice in the trades may start around 50% of the wage of a journeyman and may act as a helper/laborer etc. until fully trained. You do not work for the union, but you do pay them dues. Company XYZ wants to build a bridge, so they call the stone masons union hall and ask for 20 workers. You work for Company XYZ and are paid by them until the job is done.
There are lots of different trade unions and above is just a rough example of how they work. If you want to get specific details, check out the IBEW website for an example of how the electricians union works.
Beautiful family!
Hello Driver Dude, thank you brother,

Do you have any idea how much I love your family? What a wonderful father you are and how awesome you are for showcasing your daughters doing that beautiful work! I have learned so much from watching your videos.
Evening Terra Sinkevicius, now you went and done it, that comment just made you my newest and bestest pal, thanks for the bone and have a wonderful evening. FYI, my girls can plaster as well as most men, they even last longer I guess cause like their dad, they don't eat meat which makes a make a person sluggish. Best wishes, Kirk giordano Plastering
nice tip about the tape on the scratchier.
Here is a way i have found to be effective and saves on tape and basically does the same process. Take a drywall knife and cut a " teeth " pattern into it between 3/8" to 1/2" depth. This makes for a uniform scar and depth without all the undesirable " mud buggers "
nice work and vid
Michael D
Hi Michael Dude, good tip Michael,
I had on my truck a few of these different notched trowels from various plastering companies, they are o.k. , but aren't nearly as effective for what we do,
I still prefer the tape on these old fashioned scarifiers, the reason?
these old fashioned scarifiers flex. and act as two separate tools.
Cheers!
kirk Giordano
leaves lath marks I was going to say.. Cheers
Constantly picky up Great ideas i never considered tape on my scratchers Great idea to control the Scratch depth !!~!!~
Or you could get a scratcher trowel and throw the scarifier away. Scarifiers were designed to key the brown coat before putting plaster finnish on interior walls and in the old days, plasterers made them out of things such as bicycle wheel spokes.
looks like oakland
helpfull vid, cheers
