Why buy high quality water hoses or Professional Water Hoses?
You will save money by buying the best in the long run.

Hello everyone, in this video I am venting my frustration for being fool enough to not only buy but use cheap, useless garbage water fitting they often sell at the big chain hardware stores while charging the same prices if not more than the Best high quality water hoses or Professional Water Hoses, this is the second time in 30 years I’ve had the exact same thing happen, if it happens again thats time telling me its time to retire, or cry again on another video about how I got conned once more by buying parts while not paying full attention to what might occur as a result.

Stay away from Made in China!  I have never got a quality product from there and there  is a reason for it! Thanks for the tip!

Good tip. I didn't know high quality hoses and fittings were available. Even beefy looking fittings at big warehouse stores are diecast junk. I've come to think hoses were semi disposables or consumables. It really should last at least a few years. Sorry to hear about the hose ruining your work. Thanks for taking the time and sharing. Still unbelievable… 99 cent quality fittings for 8 dollars… that's just criminal, and it cost you a grand.

    Hey Kirk,

Couldn't agree more – cheap and crappy is the new normal.  I've always loved the heavy duty red contractor hoses (at least most of them).  They're pretty good on kinks but my wife wanted something lighter around the house and ALL the rest of the hoses kink like crazy – drives me nuts.  Once they get a crease color it done.  We'll I'm trying out a hose from Flexzilla with GHT aluminum ends and I can say, it does NOT hold a crease even if folded overnight.  Also, it doesn't kink under pressure meaning that if you do pull out the hose empty, it will fold but run some water through it an, viola!, out it pops.   I have not tried running a truck over the ends so I'm not sure how that would work out.   It isn't cheap but neither are the contractor hoses.  I know some pros use these and like them so you may want to check them out.  BTW, the hose ends are nicely milled even if they are aluminum but if I have to replace them, I'll keep an eye out for quality parts.

    Thanks again

Green hose flooded our house when we weren't home. Lesson learned the hard way.
