how to fix a corner plaster wall crack.

Hello everyone, I am showing how to fix a corner wall crack, note caulking also works well, but since I have had so many folks ask me if a corner trowel or wing tool is necessary, I thought I’d show what the heck a corner trowel actual is.
They are great for all new sheetrock as you need a lot of mud in the corners and these tools really help, but for a crack they are simply a waist of time.

Thanks for watching and have a fantastic day!

Hi Phillip, I think it's a cool area, a bit too cold for me, but great pubs.

Howdy Kirk. A few weeks ago I skimmed a small wall with Sheetrock. The funny thing is that I put mesh tape over all the joints and some of them still managed to hairline crack. Does that mean the whole wall should be re-skimmed?

Would a caulk like Big Stretch work where there's minor movement on an inside corner due to swelling and shrinking of the wall framing? I'm trying to fix a crack where I can touch up with paint afterwards, rather than having to repaint an entire area.

Could you put some caulk in first than put some plaster on top?
