Morning dusty dude, it is sort of humorous, but shattering those heavy molds gives me little glory. best wishes, Kirk and Jasons DIY plastering network

Kirk- I want to do the gables on our house that are the triangular type and right now they are textured ply forgot the name . Do you have any videos (I recall one) but questions about flashing and how the stucco goes up to the flashing is the flashing cleaned off afterward or stucco over ? Any detailed vid would be appreciated as your videos are. Thanks db

      Happy thanksgiving Isomina Bred,
      I don't understand the question?
Are you saying you have plywood that has a tex coat sprayed on it and you wish to stucco over these walls?
If so you can apply stucco or cement plaster (same thing) over the paper flashing after the wire is on, but don't stucco over metal flashing.

Hope you enjoyed your thanksgiving . Essentially the problem I have understanding is the edges like where the edge slightly goes over the slump block (so the slump block is the wall below the gable, where the gable begins it slightly overlaps the block) and I'm having difficulty understanding how to make that a transition that is neat or level .. I know I should look back at other vids which I will do re: metal flashing, but that transition point is cloudy for me.. I hopefully explained it well enough..ok thanks for your help .. Db
