Reinforced Fibered cement plaster, same day stucco applications
Hello everyone, in this video I am explaining what is reinforced fibered cement plaster and it’s uses, both the scratch and brown coat of this cement plaster should be applied on the same day.
Note: in the title I call the product Cement Plaster and Stucco, both are terms for exterior plaster, or cement plaster.
Also note, with this BMI 690 cement plaster that both coats are applied on the same day, a plasterer should not over trowel these coats or the denseness can be compromised.
It’s best to apply two coats, trowel or darby as little as possible to get the wall true and plumb, leave it alone until it set’s and either very lightly use a hard rubber float to simply get the lines out, not to compress as you would normal Portland cement plaster.
Lastly this material like many other same day materials should not be over mixed.
BMI recommends 3 minutes, but never more than 5 minutes

Reinforced Fibered cement plaster, same day stucco applications
Hey Kirk, are those caps not going to get gaps/crack right where the wood is? I've got them everywhere in my house, because wood dried out over the years. Isn't the same going to happen over there, except it's outside?
I think you are right, I would worry about that as well.
hang the plants , great idea on the caps. TU
nice work man
Type of cement used for this ?
