Using a bucket Mortar Mixer to mix stucco cements

Howdy folks, Jason here showing you how easy it can be to use one of these bucket mortar mixers.

Im using a premium cement here with a 3 to 1 sand to cement powder mix. For different applications your mix will be different, so I didn’t show my starting materials.

Looks like it would be perfect for my small repair jobs too.  Only it seems to have been discontinued, a few years back, and no one else makes something similar.
Found only 1, after 1hr of searching.  Gonna have to keep and eye out for this one.
    Thx J

Hey gcrady, as Jason pointed out it's not for everyone it has it's advantages and disadvantages.
I have had this in my garage foe quite awhile. If it's not sold anymore  I would assume the disadvantages outweigh the advantages.
Cheers Crady, and thanks for watching.

+Kirk & Jason Giordano's plastering & stucco tips All the Mixers they make in construction look like cake mixers. Except maybe that square garbage one. Fact of the matter is that not this big mixing contraption or any other mixer in the industry actually mixes the material. Until NOW go to my channel and you will see what everyone is talking about. If you want to see a natural vortex being made in materials effortlessly in seconds!!

Have you ever mixed and used so called perlite plaster? What are your experiences? In Europe (mostly in Germany, and in my country Hungary), it is a quite popular thermo insulating product used mostly on protected historical buildings, where you cannot use thick polystyrene system by legal reasons.

Hi Attila Vermes, I used hundreds of bags of Structo-lite base coat which has perlite in it. Perlite is a lightweight compounds which makes it seem effortless to lift and apply.
Perlite aggregate instead of sand offer many advantages.
       Cheers
