The last part of the video when you mention a color coat finish entire  house ,is't  that what a  "Stucco finish" is( a color coat finish) ? Because  you say , mud , cement, cementisseus .  An plaster is  inside stuff entirely different product .Good vid. Buddy .TU .  TY .

Howdy  Peter, yes you're right I mainly call them color coats maintenance free color finishes, but other folks call them different names. all pretty much mean the same thing. cheers! kirk and family

Love your videos!! I have learned so much from watching you and have tackled a few stucco projects as a result. I recently had to move an exterior light fixture so now I have a lovely 4" hole in my stucco wall where the light fixture used to be. What I intend to do is to use the new 4" circular piece that I sawed out of the stucco wall for the new fixture location (it has the stucco, wire, and foam parts all together in one convenient piece) and plug it right into the old hole, then caulk it or apply a stucco patch. Is this sufficient? Do I need to add new paper behind it? I live in AZ so we get strong rain storms during the monsoon seasons. I would appreciate any advice you can give me. Thank you!
