I am so glad to see that you have videos about fixing holes from injected insulation. Our 90-year-old home is in need of insulation and I was worried about all the holes they will put in our dashed finish stucco exterior. Do you think cracks will happen since they will be making a hole in the wood lath? Or would the plugs help strengthen it?

@Clinton Ballot Well Clinton, dude, I already told you someone's got to yammer on while pretending to work. Might as well be me, as I paid my dues already. Believe it or not sometimes I actually do work. Cheers! kirk giordano Plastering

Howdy Vic Dude, as a rule, the stucco has to set 28 days before it can be painted, were much too busy to return to homes to film this. Live long and plaster Mastering Plastering for the beginner

Howdy Bludika, the water dripping is not what the video is about, the texture matching and prep work are what this video emphasizes. Live long and plaster Kirk Giordano’s Plastering answers to life’s issues

You should have way more subscribers than you do. At what hole size do I need to put in a plug to repair? I have 3/8” lag bolt holes I need to repair in my stucco. Its a colored stucco so do I just mix some colored stucco and use the colored to fill the holes or do I have to do it in stages?

Evening Justin dude, I'd caulk around it first, then add the stucco, color coats are designed to be applied no thicker than a 1/8 of an inch, but say you mix it stiff so it won't fall out applying it, it will take a day or two to dry, when it is dry then mixed more to cover all the hairline cracks. BTW, hopefully, these holes are not in an area that will receive a lot of attention, as no one can color within a wall and have it blend in, except for one color called crystal white. Peace, love with happiness to all. Kirk Giordano plastering tips-mixed with sound advice

Kirk, you are so dang cool. Should I just try to find some small plugs and caulk it or just caulk it? What’s the best caulk/type I should use?
