Stucco or plastering Staple guns for lathing or roofing.

Hi folks, before work on this day I decide to show the difference between the Senco guns that I own and the newer models that are sold today. By the way the newer models work much better. I used them that day for the first time and am now hooked.

Good Morning Peter, only when I remember, in years long past I wore a belt with the oil adapter kit, It was clumsy outfit but the boss yelled at me if I didn’t have this harness hooked up.
Best wishes and have a good day.

Hello howiboy, I had to do a three year apprentice program in the early 80s with the plasterers union, I don’t wish to be back in school, even if it were for teaching.
Now on the job training that’s more my style as it’s difficult for me to just stand or sit still.
    Have a good evening.

The old ones are made in USA (I think Cincinatti?) I've got one. There is a reason thay are still around after 30 years.

Howdy Coxfame, for going over stud walls 7/8 for going over your typical sheathing 1 inch and a quarter, the idea is to get 7/8 into the stud to accept the amount of stucco weight per square inch. cheers, kirk giordano rendering

Aré roofers allowed to staple shingles in your area? Staples have been outlawed in California for a long long time at least 20 years I think

Kirk — how does the gate open on the old 1" Senco PW? Thanks

got it — (for anyone else) – tap a large flat blade screwdriver down the mouth until the gate pops open – tap it closed with the butt of the screwdriver. I was over thinking it. Cheers
