Stucco patching and matching, bullnosing stucco patchwork

Howdy guys and gals, in this video we show and explain Feathering in Stucco, stucco re-finishing.

Sometimes windows and doors are set too far into the stucco wall to get a straight and proper repair so you have to bullnose them in.

no offence , but here in holland they would never accept your work ….
when the sun shines over that stucco , it`s hump and bump all over the place
everything has te be true and plumb, inside and outside of the house, no skimcoats over here, not even over plasterboard , you will Always see the joints of the boards

    Good evening Peter, Thank you.
I would say less than an hour, but that’s with Jason’s mixing the perfect amount for immediate results.
Thanks for watching and have a groovy evening.

    Good evening tcb, Thank you.
I best quit messing around and watch it myself as I haven’t had the time yet so I can see if I deserve any of this credit.
Thanks for watching and have a groovy evening.

Good evening biesk from Holland, no offense taken.
That wall was as crooked as a dog’s hind leg. If I were to stucco it true and plumb I would not have gotten paid for my services.
I still have yet to watch it. If Jason has not shown the true surface of the wall we will be sure not to make that same mistake again.
I simply try and match what is on the original wall.
Thanks for watching and have a good evening.

well, you are handy with your trowel, that`s for sure ! i have been a plasterer for 12 years now and cement based mud is still a bit diffucult to work with…. it doesn`t stick like gypsum plaster for the inside. then again we don`t have much practice over here , most houses are made of brick here in holland, good day to you sir.

Greeting Bieski from Holland, I agree the gypsum plasters seem like whipping cream, I have turned my full hawk upside down a few times to show how well it sticks.
My wife and I wish to visit Holland sometime. But alas, stuck here for now.
Best wishes, and thanks for watching.

Hi lallenh, if you’re going to comment, concentrate on what your viewing then think, why is that fella doing it that way?
Perhaps you should count to 10 then reply.
Keep in mind most folks would possibly believe your shenanigans if you were to get a State license for lath and plastering. (C35)
    Cheers!

Spencer Kelly, you may be right, the boy does have some issues!
It’s sort of weird, he subscribed to piss moan and whine about each video, but I find his comments actually amusing.
Thanks for watching and have a great day.

Howdy Ally, thank you, it take a bit of improvising when someone installs a door or window too far in or out, but that adds to the fun of plastering.

Howdy Ally my fellow plasterer, many of us are skilled craftsman that clean up messes that need specialized training as yours truly.
Sometimes we do earn decent cash and sometimes we don't, what important is to earn enough to keep a roof over our head and food on the table.

Hi Kirk . I enjoyed watching you sculpture the wall . You saved the property owners a lot of money and time. Most people including me would not have seen the bull nose idea. It takes time to think of these different ways to make it blend in with buildings that have been there over 50 plus years. Good video. And great camera work. Thank you.
