Thanks for all the info. The videos have been a big help! If the holes open up under the house (in my case thick electrical cables from my panel), and there is nothing behind them, what do you use as backing?

    Thanks again!

Howdy Zac, you can use spray foam, cut the excess after is has expanded, then apply stucco over this.

Hi zakdigital, that depend on what the sheathing is.
You could try a polyurethane caulk if you just need to seal the hole.
Thanks for watching and have a great day!

Howdy wolf Dude, most holes are bigger than this one,
Rapid set from Home Depot works well for big holes too.

What if a bullet hole went all the way through to inside of house. How do you patch that?

Great video, what kind of quick set stuff are you using? You mentioned cement and plaster. I'm looking to fill large vent holes
    Thanks

Good afternoon Brett, what I'm using I don't recommend to you as to much cash for a small repair, go to home depot and buy a box of rapid set stucco, either a 10 or 25-pound box, you just add water, this product hardens in about 20 minutes, give or take.
Don't over-mix, read the directions on mixing no more than 5 minutes, I'd say good luck however luck is the residue of being well prepared if you watching our video's you're prepared for battle.

I have a 2 inch hole it's about 1 inch deep right above my garage door, it was from a pipe. What would be the best and easy thing to patch it with? Thanks

Howdy Seeker dude, Google Home Depot, Lowes or any hardware stores that sell's ten-pound boxes of Rapid set stucco.
Mix with water and patch the hole, this is a permanent fix.
I say Google the stores in your area, so you don't spin your wheels, as the Rapid Set stucco comes in 10 or 25-pound boxes or big bags.
You don't want to buy a big bag for such a small hole as its a waste of time and money plus the big bags are heavy.

Would hydraulic cement also work for patching small 2 inch holes in stucco? Great videos by the way. You definitely make plaster work look wayyyyyy easier than it actually is.

I don't think that is the right way captain K . I would think you need some kind of expansion joints around pipe . Will the plaster crack over time from the pipe expansion/contractions .

I just fill it with expanding foam after installing a pipe.

@Kirk Giordano plastering Inc. I don't even put stucco on top. Just fill the gap with foam! If the pipe comes out straight ,escutcheon to the rescue.

@RiceFlavoredGum cool beans daddieo, if it does not match, you have the option to coat the surface with stucco so it will match. Cheers, Kirk Giordano Plastering
