Best caulking is best to seal stucco lathing
Howdy folks, on this newly built garage completed By Larry Beilman, a Licensed general contractor in Alameda,, ca. I explain the type of polyurethane caulking to seal stucco lathing required by city codes to be used to fuse windows, doors, electrical outlets, Pipes or anything that may need fusing to the paper to be completed prior to an application of stucco. If this caulking work is not done before application of stucco, these areas will have the potential to leak.

where is his plaster stop for expansion?
Howdy Hawkman, we don’t use a plaster stops here in California. I am aware in different states it is required as I have heard this before.
My sons and I have over 300 videos, not one will show a plaster stop. You can Google the states where it is necessary if it’s of interest to you.
Sometimes when I do commercial projects, if the prints call for J trim around any windows or doors, I install them, also sort of rare.
Best wishes and have a groovy day!
