Howdy trussbab, we do try and take time out from our work to show proper fixes, so the average DYI person can get a better idea of what’s involved in certain stucco or plaster fixes. So maybe, just maybe a person can do it themselves.
Thanks for the bone and have a groovy evening.

Great tutorial! Where is your plant protection and tarps for the ground/planter?

Howdy Nacho, I actually finished the complete front and ceiling prior to the video. I show myself throwing on a bit more dash to explain how a stucco dash is thrown on. The small amount that splashed on the plant and on the drain pipe I simply washed right off. Good eye, and thanks for the bone.
Best wishes and have a groovy holiday season.

If you want a medium dash finish what products do you use? Just Portland cement, sand and water? Also what is ratio? Cement 4 to 1 Sand?

Thank you for your many very helpful videos. I'm patching dash stucco on an old house with wood lath base. I used Sakrete Base Coat Scratch & Brown Stucco over the wood lath. Can I use the same stuff for the dash coat, or use Sakrete Finish Coat Stucco, or the basic cement and sand mix you use? Need a bonding agent in between? Thank you!
