My Texture mistakes, assuming makes it so

Howdy folks, in this video I explain how to correct a wrong stucco finish or texture. I assumed I knew what texture homeowner wanted without verifying first. This sort of thing happens when a fella like me gets into believing I know what they want because other folks ask to match whatever is next to the new stucco. Anyhow I show the ways to correct a heavy humpty float finish to a fine humpty float finish with more detailed divots and lines.

Man, that’s what makes it all worthwhile. I learned from some good craftsman and now You Tube allows that same benefit without a person leaving a chair. You tube is the real hero worldwide. When I need to learn something I also go to You Tube or Google it.
Thanks for the bone and have a great day!

Hi Kirk, We have an issue with our stucco that we just applied to our cinderblock wall and I thought this video might help. We have a rough finish which is fine, the problem is we ended up with tons of bumps due not not applying correctly. It did go on about 1/2 thick. Could I use this same method on this video to even up the entire walls? Also one wall is too thin. Maybe 1/4inch and showing the grout lines. A different family member applied that section and did not go deep enough. What do you recommend? I did leave you and your son a voice message on your phone line so hopefully I hear back from you. We love all your videos and we appreciate all the time you invest to help people. Thanks.
