Plaster Guru, complete stucco systems

Howdy guys and gals. My son Jason and I, explain how to apply three coats of stucco plus install Styrofoam molding to a newly installed window on the same day. The color finish is a float finish with a skip trowel finish applied over the float finish. Usually only found on plastering contractor’s homes as it two finishes in the color coat process. One must know when the cements sets how much sand to cement to apply and have a lot of time in to try this method. I would advise all to stick with traditional methods and proper cure times which will take at least 4 separate days!
Applying two coats of stucco Styrofoam and the color coat skip trowel same day!

Hey Steve, your comment slipped through the cracks, I’m just seeing it now a year later. No, we didn’t do a comeback as I told the fella he would have to paint.
I have been doing this stuff for so long I told him in advance there was no way the color would match.
Best wishes and have a great day!

NHowdy dusty, I don’t know if it came out darker or lighter, I do know it didn’t match the color exact. The only color on the La Habra chart that will somewhat match a color within a color is Chrystal white.
Best wishes and have a great day!

Howdy dusty, I informed the owner that colors don’t match existing work , the only way to ensure a perfect color is to complete the patchwork come back and re-skim the complete wall corner to corner. He was painting the entire home anyhow.
Best wishes and have a great day!

Your texture match wasn't even close. You put lots of straight lines in your texture compared to the small Spanish style texture.
