Fix or repair peeling or buckling plaster, loose finish coat

Fx or repair peeling or buckling plaster, loose finish coat

Howdy guys and gal, in this step by step video, I explain common occurrences to skim coats when the bonding agent is added in the mixer. (To try save time and efforts) I have read on some bottles myself that you may add the bonding agent to the actually mix. Fact is I don’t know of any instances where the material will adhere if the bonding agent is diluted and destroyed in the mix, Instead apply the bonding agent to the home or building by brush, or roller. This way takes more time but the skim coat or color finish will stand the test of time. I usually use Weld Crete as my bonding agent.

@SkilledWorkforceUSA Big Steve, the weld create I usually use I dilute for color coats, however for other cement bonds I use full strength. Did your son get that position in Hayward? Have a good evening.

How do you match the color of the existing wall to your newly applied plaster?

Good morning bhumanecate, our job was to match the correct texture, the home owner was to paint after it sets or cures for 28 days.
I would imagine they break off a small piece of stucco and lets the fellas at the paint store input it into the computer for the closest formula. Or they can use paint sheet samples and buy the closest one it matches.

I'm getting ready to try and fix some new plaster peeling off old walls in a church I'm betting they didn't use plaster weld when they repaired walls from fire damage.
