Apply a knockdown dash, plaster knockdown, stucco knockdown

Howdy folks, today what I’ll show you is how I fix this small stucco patch and then hand apply a knock down dash finish to match the existing finish.
We did this patchwork for Bert Dellobuono, owner of Done-Right! Rooter and Plumbing. He is an honest, genuine master craftsman who loves his trade.
He also very reasonably priced.
Give him a call at 1 (408) 432 – 1412 or email him at DoneRightRooter@aol.com

Hey Kirk. Thanks for this I tried my first knock down stucco finish yesterday – you are right its harder than it looks. I have some questions if that's ok:
    – I'm using El Rey premium stucco finish. Is the finish coat the same as the texture coat when using the dash brush?
    – my dash brush is 6" wide, 2" deep and 3.5" long. Yours is obviously different, I assume this is ok?

Morning TheDcrot, yes you can dash with this product, when dashing it take practice to know how to make the mix, too stiff and it comes off the brush in globs, too soupy and it washes down the wall.
I can use all sizes of dash brush this again takes practice, i prefer the one in this video though.
    Best wishes,

I guess that if that takes months and months of practice this video would only be for people in your line of work and not the do it yourself crowd.

Hello Lee Mullen, no so, I have seen fellas with no experience do it while on the other hand some can't, just depends on the person. Cheers. Kirk Giordano

What a horrible and pointless video. Thank you for teaching me nothing while staring at the camera and making self-important comments about why you're awesome and we can't do this at home.
