The home owners had been experiencing stucco leaks for about 10 years prior to our corrections. The home owners applied a new roof and opened this stucco wall in numerous areas with multiple coats of paint at no success in waterproofing it. I explained that if the owner wanted it done correctly with a guarantee that it would never leak again I would have to remove the existing stucco, apply new lath and re-stucco the wall properly. Upon removal of all stucco it was clear from all the extensive wood rot that this was the proper measure to take. Pictures show removal of stucco, re-lath using two layers of paper backed building paper, and new stucco.
Thanks for your time and have a great day!
