How to water proof and repair a small hole in stucco
Hello guys and gals, in this quick video I will show you how to repair a small hole in your stucco, such as those left by removing an air conditioning system, or any other protrusion through the wall.
First you must have lath material to tie into, and this may require that you carefully break out the stucco. Keep in mind that you must have the materials tested for hazardous substances before any demo work can be done. Then you lath it, paying careful attention to overlap in the proper places.
With normal stucco you cannot do two coats simultaneously like I do here, you must know how to use accelerators in your cements, which takes time in and practice, I don’t recommend anyone try to “one coat” a project if you are inexperienced, please see some of my other videos on how to scratch and brown normally.
